Our Why

As a small (but growing) group of determined peers, we have the strong desire to improve our working conditions, pay, benefits and job security. We do this because we love what we do and we love those we work with. Motivating this mission are the growing concerns about corporate greed and the unmistakable pursuit of profit that creates conflict between doing what is best for the patient vs. what makes the most money.

We want to preserve the excellent workplace we have; to keep the portions of our environment & culture at the high level we are used to and expect!

At our core, we deeply value the contributions of each and every team member. We recognize that our paramedics and nurses are the backbone of our success, and their well-being and satisfaction are of utmost importance. This organizing campaign presents an opportunity to strengthen our voice and ensure that concerns, aspirations, and ideas are heard, respected, and acted upon.

A union can provide a collective platform for employees to collaborate, negotiate, and advocate for fair and equitable working conditions, benefits, and wages.
